- To coordinate with the DOH's medical service ranking policy, to establish a good relationship with local medical service providers of all levels, to enforce the referral system, and to promote the full use of medical resources.
- To engage in the development of organ transplantation and to provide quality
medical services for patients in southern Taiwan.
- To gradually reinforce teaching and research to become the best medical center in southern Taiwan.
- To gradually implement the "clinical paths" management system to shorten hospital stays.
- To establish QC indices, to keep promoting medical quality improvement and to improve service quality.
- To simply operation procedures, to enhance working efficiency and to execute administration reform on 'serving society' and 'providing convenient service'.
- To promote caring and courteous service campaigns and develop a sincere service attitude.
- To reinforce internal management and to enforce the costing and merit bonus system.
- To continue computerization, to develop image transmission and distant consultant technology and to actively take part in the National Information Infrastructure (NII) project.
- To raise funds for the Serenity Ward and OPD Building to provide better care for terminal cancer patients and improve the quality of emergency medicine.
