The Accounting Department of Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital was founded in 1990, which was divided into four divisions. It handles all of the budgeting, internal auditing, accounting, costing functions and  statistic affairs. There are fifteen staffs in the department, which is composed of one director, four chiefs, three auditors, two officers, three clerks, one recorder and one technician. It is described according to the organization and functions as follows：

Director:Yang Chun-Man（EXT:8010）

n    Duties 

The director executes the order from the head chairman of the hospital, deputes the chairman and the director’s secretary and handles the entire accounting affairs of the hospital.

Budgeting Division:

n        Duties 

The division is responsible for the annual budget preparation, allocation, implementation , control, and analyses.

n        Members :three persons

Auditing Division:

n        Duties 

The division is responsible for cash, custody and accounting credentials audit and supervises engineering, purchasing bid, store, price comparison and negotiation.

n        Members:four persons

Accounting Division:

n        Duties 

The division is responsible for setting and drawing up tally credential, monthly reports, annual final statement and other relative accounts handling.

Costing Division:

n        Duties :

The division  is responsible for costing formulation, implementation, financial analysis, drawing up units’ monthly cost statements and also provides medical items’ cost analyses timely.
