Department of Health Management

　　Welcome to the Department of Health Management’s online home. With a total staff of more than 70 people, the Department of Health Management is one of the divisions of the Veteran General hospital-Kaohsiung. It has five sections, including section of health administration, section of medical record, section of research and quality, section of performance, and section of claim. It also offers over 100 first line services, such as registration/billing/refund, admission/discharge/certificate authorization, health information management, performance analysis, and quality assurance.
The Department of Health Management communicates the Veteran General hospital-Kaoshiung policy views and demonstrates its commitment to maintain and strengthen ties between the medical and administrative system. 

The aim of the Department of Health Management is to provide customer-oriented services quickly and conveniently. We have ongoing organization-wide TQM/CQI training programs and action plans to reduce medication errors and to improve patient satisfaction, thus ensuring patient safety. We also want to implement hospital-wide electronic medical record system to find ways of providing quickly and conveniently medical information to physicians and patients.
