The Division of Biochemistry

The aim of the division is to exploit high-throughput automation technology in a cost-effective manner and to provide comprehensive biochemistry, toxicology and molecular pathology lab services for patients.

The development of new test method and instrumentation provides more rapid and accurate diagnostic means for the promotion of patient health. The division provides innovative and outstanding environment of the future generation for both basic and clinical laboratory sciences.

The division is maintaining continuing education activities as a function of growth and maintenance of professional competence. The scope of learning including:

• Perform right quality control right
• Performing analytical tests on blood, urine, body fluids and other substances
• Executing quality assessment measures, and maintaining desirable accuracy, precision, linearity and calibration verification
• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance of instruments
• Evaluating and selecting new techniques, instruments and methods validation in terms of their usefulness within the availability of laboratory's personnel, equipment and budgetary resources
• The training on management, safety and information systems
