About us 

As part of the hospital, dental department has started to provide service since the opening of the hospital in October 1990. We have totally 37 dental units and 37 clinical staffs in the department at the moment. Our mission is to provide all aspect of high quality dental care and also to improve the quality of life of individuals who need better oral health to achieve a high level of well-being that is possible. We all dedicated to helping people to improve their oral health through caring, discovery, teaching and learning. As a team, our department has taken pride in staffing with highly trained and professional personnel strive their best effort to provide quality dental care and a complete range of oral health maintenance and general dentistry.

To ensure quality, we have our own in-house dental laboratory, which enables the doctor to consult with the dental technician to achieve optimum results. We also have a well-equipped central supply unit to sterilize all dental instrument and equipment so that we can follow strict infection control procedures to prevent cross infection in every single step during treatment.

The department now divided into 6 subdivision to provide better professional service to the public including:

1.      Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery,

2.      Division of Prosthodontics

3.      Division of Periodontics,

4.      Division of Endodontics

5.      Division of Pedodontics,

6.      Division of Orthodontics.
