About us

    The Periodontal Section is headed by Dr. Yao-Dung Hsieh, the Chairman of the Department, and Dr. Li-Ling Tseng, the Chief of the Periodontal Section. It is consisted of three attending doctors, two fixed residents, several interns and dentists from different communities in training. This section averages serving 450 outpatients and performing150 periodontal surgeries including implant treatments a month. In addition, it provides one of the major academic training and teaching environment in the southern Taiwan for students from various dental schools.

Clinical Services

    Our services include periodontal health consultation, oral hygiene instruction, ultrasonic scaling, periodontal therapy, periodontal esthetic surgery, regenerative periodontal therapy, dental implant rehabilitation, and treatments for peri-implantitis and peri-implant mucositis.

Features

    Oral hygiene specialists provide hands-on instructions. Individual holistic and comprehensive periodontal treatments are video- and photo- documented. This section holds periodontal colloquiums periodically in collaboration with dental academies and associations.
