Scarless Endoscopic Thyroid Surgery
- Our department is dedicated to developing innovative thyroid surgery techniques aimed at reducing post-operative scarring and alleviating patients’ psychological burdens and social stress. Through the use of endoscopic technology, surgical incisions are concealed in discreet areas such as the inside of the mouth, underarms, or around the areola, achieving a scar-free neck appearance. Enhanced by advanced equipment such as ultrasonic scalpels, nerve detectors, and fluorescence imaging technology, our surgeries achieve higher precision and reduced risk.
- To date, our department has successfully completed over 300 endoscopic thyroid surgeries, tailoring surgical plans according to individual patient conditions. Our success rate reaches 99%, with only a 1% incidence of vocal cord damage post-surgery. Our research, published in multiple international journals, showcases the innovation and significant clinical outcomes of our techniques.
